Interchangeability with Metric Wedge Belts

Certain sections of American standard wedge belts can be used interchangeably with metric wedge belts:

• 3V belts may be used with SPZ pulley sections

• 5V belts may be used with SPB pulley sections

However, the reverse substitution is not recommended because RMA pulley top widths are smaller.

The 8V section is larger than the SPC profile. In some cases, SPC belts may operate in 8V pulley grooves with reduced power capacity, but the reverse is not recommended.

Dimensions：

The standard length designation for Narrow belts is as follows: Belt number / 10 = Outside length in inches. For example: 5V 950 means 950 / 10= 95 inches outside length.
